Monique Petro
Senior Paralegal
Monique is originally from Brazil, where she went to Law School for 4 years and worked at a law firm specialized in banking law and consumer protection law. Shortly before graduating in law school, she moved to the United States to study English, and after falling in love with San Diego, she decided to make it her permanent home. She graduated with a degree in Business and is currently finishing her associate’s degree in paralegal studies.
Monique works as the case manager for several of our mass tort cases, including Talcum Powder, Hernia Mesh, and Hair Relaxer cases.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, crafting and spending quality time with her husband and their dog. These activities help her stay balanced and energized for the challenges of her professional life.
What motivates Monique the most in her work is the opportunity to help people who have been affected by harmful products or practices. Knowing that the firm’s efforts can bring justice and support to clients during difficult times drives her to give her best every day. She is passionate about working collaboratively with the team to achieve successful outcomes, and she hopes to continue growing in her role while contributing to the firm’s mission of delivering meaningful results for the clients.
