Monique Petro
Senior Paralegal
I am originally from Brazil, where I went to Law School for 4 years and worked at a law firm specialized in banking law and consumer protection law. Shortly before graduating in law school, I moved to the United States to study English, and after falling in love with San Diego, I decided to make it my permanent home. I graduated with a degree in Business and am currently finishing my associate’s degree in paralegal studies.
I work as the case manager for several of our mass tort cases, including Talcum Powder, Hernia Mesh, and Hair Relaxer cases.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, gardening, crafting and spending quality time with my husband and our dog. These activities help me stay balanced and energized for the challenges of my professional life.
What motivates me the most in my work is the opportunity to help people who have been affected by harmful products or practices. Knowing that our efforts can bring justice and support to clients during difficult times drives me to give my best every day. I am passionate about working collaboratively with our team to achieve successful outcomes, and I hope to continue growing in my role while contributing to the firm's mission of delivering meaningful results for our clients.
