Before law school, I didn't realize how much everyday consumers need legal protection from unscrupulous businesses and insurance companies. I assumed lawyers mostly served large companies in business disputes.

During law school, I externed for two bankruptcy court judges in Orange County, California, and saw first-hand how aggressively creditors pursue everyday people. Many of them had been injured, lost work because of their injuries, and fell behind on medical bills. Surprisingly, many of the creditors were breaking the law in their attempts to collect.

After law school, I worked at a well-respected personal injury law firm in Beverly Hills. There I saw how insurance companies delay and resist helping people who have been seriously injured through no fault of their own, and how quickly those clients were then targeted by creditor calls.

That is why I started my own law firm in 2009. Since then, I have focused on helping people harmed by the negligence and misconduct of others, including injuries from defective products, medical devices, and dangerous drugs, and on holding companies accountable for the harm they cause.

I also help people who are being bullied by debt collectors, auto dealers, and credit reporting agencies. Debt collectors often prey on people at their most vulnerable, and too often they break the law while doing so.
