According to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 18 CFPB complaints have been made since 2014 with no record of any complaints during the 19 years prior. The vast majority of these complaints deal with medical collections or other health-related debts that were reportedly already paid or not the debt of the person being contacted.
